I need some backstory on Fabian to clarify why he feels so deprived of love that he harms himself by being with someone who essentially groomed him to be a tool for strength. When I say "essentially," I mean it’s straightforward grooming. This person sought out Fabian when he was most vulnerable, promising to protect him and take his power away so he wouldn’t have to rely on it. Then, he starts guiding Fabian, but it’s important to note that this guidance is purely sexual. He knows it’s unnecessary, yet he uses these sexual acts to emotionally manipulate Fabian into becoming attached to him. He makes Fabian feel indebted because K saved him and is doing so much for him. Fabian also learns about his past, shrouded in lies, and now also wants to protect him, and it's this constant battle that's going on with K's character--most of the time he's a di** who mainly thinks of his self-intrests, and then the story tries to show his growth by showing that "oh, no actually see he's enjoying the s** and is talking the bare minimum with Fabian, he's growing!" yeah no. It's like he's trying his best to be empathetic, but he doesn't truly feel that way.
