Lolol I'm at a conclusion someone already said it but I'm modify it a bit that the arrow little eros send acted as a catalyst yes it did but in case of Apollo and for Daphne it altered her feelings because no matter how small the gesture was over the past year she loved apollo and apollo also showed interest but it was being dominated by the fear that Artemis would kill Daphne in this story and it was a great lesson for apollo too to set his arrogance and pride aside in the end we got a happy story contrary to the original where daphne ran and ran till she reached her father and asked him for a favour and she therefore turned into a Laurel tree ofc apollo grieved and the leaves were given to victors etc etc good story
