She's stupid for chatting the hostages up without checking where the enemy could be.... I know it appeared out of nowhere but she was fully aware going into that area the fact that they were actual "hostages" so the enemy had to be somewhere nearby... Walking in casually and chatting them up was a stupid reckless move.
