So from this chapter I have concluded that Roger is end game and I have no problem with that and who knows maybe author will make her have two husband's Roger and the duke.

@Jettyxoxo honestly if she ends up with the both of them it wouldn't even be happy ending for me. Bc what do you mean crochetta and Roger have such a strong love between them but she still takes a 2nd husband she doesn't even love ?? like, make it make sense. The only happy ending for me would be fl and Roger together and arnold moves on, cures his antropophobia somehow and falls in love with someone who actually loves him, which clearly is not crochetta. (And if Étienne could die horribly it would be perfect)
