Spoiler!
Her father encourages Tia not to sacrifice her own happiness, even after becoming the Head of the Lombardi family. Tia understands that he is talking about Perez and her feelings for him. She admits that she is still worried that loving Perez might interfere with her responsibilities as Lombardi’s Family Head. Her father tells her to take her time deciding, but reminds her that love is an important part of life. Tia then asks her father if he ever wants to marry again. He becomes embarrassed and tells her that the only person he has ever loved is her mother, Shan. He says there is no room in his heart for anyone else. Tia notices that whenever he talks about Shan, his face becomes happier. Her father says that he and Shan had a love they would never regret. The next morning, Tia is summoned to her grandfather’s office. On the way there, she notices that the mansion is unusually busy. When she enters the office, she realizes that something is missing her grandmother’s bust is no longer near the window. Her grandfather then leads her into the main office and surprises her. He tells Tia that from that day forward, the chair in front of the desk belongs to her. Firentia Lombardi is officially the new Head of Lombardi. Tia is overwhelmed and extremely happy to finally take her rightful position. Her grandfather reminds her that being the Head may sometimes be frightening or overwhelming, but she must always remember that she is Lombardi, and Lombardi is her. Butler John then enters and formally greets Tia as the new Head instead of serving her grandfather. He informs her that a large banquet has been prepared to celebrate her inauguration. Tia learns that it is a Lombardi tradition to open the mansion for three days and celebrate the new Family Head with nobles and citizens. During the celebration, Tia promises her grandfather that she will make the Lombardi family even greater. Her grandfather proudly tells her that he believes she can do it. The inauguration banquet continues for three days and nights. Nobles from across the Empire and the people of Lombardi gather at the mansion to celebrate Tia becoming the new Family Head. On the afternoon of the final day, Butler John approaches Tia with unexpected news. A distant guest has arrived and wants to meet her in the garden. The visitor is Shan’s mother Tia’s maternal grandmother. This unexpected arrival leaves Tia with a new mystery and raises questions about her mother’s family and their past.
Three people, an old woman named Saura, a young man named Onta, and a young woman named Ana, arrived at a banquet in the Lombardi estate’s garden. They wore colorful clothes with beautiful embroidery and wooden accessories, making them look very different from the Imperial nobles. Onta was amazed by everything he saw, but he also felt that the nobles were too greedy and cared too much about wealth. He believed people should share what they had and wondered how many of the nobles were truly happy. Onta was worried about Saura’s health and wanted to finish their business and return to their village. However, Saura told him that their journey was not his decision to make. She then noticed Tia approaching them and recognized her as the daughter of Shan, her own daughter. Tia was surprised to learn that her grandmother had arrived without her father telling her in advance. She went to meet Saura and greeted her respectfully. Saura called her “Shan’s child,” which Tia found unusual but liked. Saura then invited Tia to walk with her into the forest so they could talk privately. Saura introduced herself and explained that she was the leader of the Chara Tribe, which lived in the woods near the sea in the southern part of the Empire. The tribe had special magical abilities that were passed down through blood. Tia remembered reading about this tribe in a book written by a scholar named Ropilli, (dhe was the woman who's book Tia used to get attention of her grandfather and Clerivan) but she had not known that her mother belonged to it.

Spoiler!
Saura revealed that she knew Tia had returned to the past. Her own ability allowed her to see things that others could not, including the past, people's thoughts, and sometimes the future through dreams. She explained that every member of the Chara Tribe had at least one special ability. Onta could heal people and turn water into medicine, while Ana had incredible speed and strength. Tia wondered whether her own ability was to turn back time. Saura said that it was possible. She also explained that Tia’s mother, Shan, had the ability to see the future. Shan could predict everything from small events to major disasters. Her power was so strong that the tribe had expected her to become the next Chief. Saura then explained that Tia was only half Chara because her father belonged to the Lombardi family. However, being half-blooded was actually a good thing. The Chara Tribe’s magical abilities came with painful prices. Onta could save dying people, but he had lost the ability to feel happiness. Ana was extremely strong and fast, but she could not feel pain, making it difficult for her to understand other people's suffering. As a result, she had accidentally injured many people when she was young. Saura had also paid a terrible price for her power. Although she could see things that others could not, her eyesight had almost disappeared. She had also lost the person most precious to her: her daughter, Shan. The stronger a person's ability was, the greater the price they had to pay. Shan's ability to see the future was so powerful that the price was her own life. Tia realized that her mother had known she would die after giving birth to her. She asked Saura why Shan had chosen to have her if she already knew what would happen. Saura explained that Shan had known about Tia and had deliberately chosen to give birth to her. Shan left her tribe and family in the woods and travelled to the Empire with Ropilli, who had completed her research. She then went to the Lombardi estate to meet Tia’s father. Tia learned that her mother had knowingly chosen to give birth to her, even though she knew it would cost her own life.
