@Risha_bl_is_my_life. you are pretty much right, i know it's confusing and things doesn't feel like adding up i will try explaining again.
-MC1 ( our main character, who teleported to the game world in chpt 1)
-MC2 ( his other version from different world who teleported to the real world in chpt 1)
-What we find out this chapter is, that they switched places 2 times already.
(Each time, there can be only 1 version of him in 1 world, obviously there can't be two of them at the same time in one world. There were always 2 of them, each one of them had their own world, and just switched places.)
-they 1st switched when they were kids, and 2nd in adulthood (the beginning of the manhwa)
-Our main character didn't know that. It was a long time they spent in their ,,opposite" world, and didn't realise that the time when they swicthed in adulthood, they actually just came back to the original world.
-So up until this point, they were in the other world for years, since they have been kids, and returned in adulthood, what is shown in the beginning of the manhwa.
-So, since the beginning of the manhwa, both of them are finally in their original world, unaware.
-Our mc dies in his original game world, he is dead there.
-When he dies, he can't go to the real world, because that's where the other version of him lives. Therefore, he ends up in a void. He is dead in his original world, he can't go anywhere.
-ML (jaehee)succeeds by bringing him back to life. We didn't get specifics on how he managed to do that in this finale, but bringing him back again made him lose his memories, cause he basically have been reborn.
-MC basically regressed - something like the time has turned back. The clock was sort off a symbolism i believe. ML was just simply able to regress him (i don't remember details on how it was in the novel exactly)
-What's important is, that because he regressed, he went back to his ,,older" self, he is basically at the same mental state like in the beginning of the manhwa, where he also wrongly thought he was in the wrong world.
-What we see at the end of this chapter, is ML finally meeting him again. After this point, they begin from the start - ml is courting him, they end up together again. And a mini spoiler from the novel - mc will get his memories back.
