@Grandmotherhunter "us normal people" you have already written yourself off. A murderer walks into a room of 5 people, in scenario one they are unarmed,in scenario 2 they open carry. Think about it,for most of history people carried arms often,the reason it fell out of favor isnt for safety,it's for control. Just as a cattle fence doesnt protect cows,it confines them for eventual slaughter.
