Spoiler text. bastian attitude was something she could not rely and trust on so she act as a spy for bastian's  step mother  afrer the mother  threatened her  about her marriage or some stuff idk and she did not had a affair 
the blaming game from bastian prospective is like his whole world on line his revenge took  a form of anger release on odette foolishness
