Just because she loves him doesn't mean she can do the things she wants. I agree, she's too nice but if you think from aqua's perspective, you'll understand. She's too obsessesive for her own good, if she continued and stabbed the Hikaru guy, she would be behind the bars and be made a scandal, ending all her career. It's too reckless to try and fix it with one's self. That being said, Auqa was considerate of her, but there's still no feelings or whatever.
