Mom told him at the start when Yuhan was waiting outside the house after the break up message that XY did not want to meet him right? She told him the truth. XY was incapable of meeting him because he was hospitalized and never woke up for 10 days. (YH waited outside the house for 8 days i think).
XY was in a critical condition and the situation looks dire that he cannot receive anymore stress that could make his heart weaker. Then XY father pressure the hosp. to do full check up because XY's illness was said to be inherited. Then it was revealed XY was not his son.
XY father was angry at the mom and he decided to disown them. (This part will be revealed later: he disown them not because he hate XY, he only angry at XY mom but he truly loves XY. He did not want Luo family to harass XY and his mom so he disown them. Then XY mom return to her family and brought XY oversea to get better treatment. **(Yuhan was angry at this point but since he school decided to cut his scholarship and he was on hold for a week, he stay at hospital ; a diff one to take care of his grandma.)
XY called him one last time to wish for YH birthday but YH did not answer him, hoping to put a distance for awhile: like punishing XY for breaking up and not telling him the reason. 
After that, YH returned to school but only to get the news that XY already quit school and went abroad. He was on verge of breaking down by the sudden news and regret not answering the call.**
Cont. XY mom told him that during the years abroad XY was in and out hospital for 6 months on death bed. After that XY recovered but all he did during those time was drawing Yuhan until he goes to Uni and graduated. He was angry at XY for keeping everything to himself. He was more angry at himself for getting angry at XY.
