@Maskedmoon she wasn't nice but indifferent, which why he hated her more than enyone in that family. Mind you she was 16-19 years old, when she freed him, she was engaged to the prince. So her act of novelty to freed him at the boiling point of his hated, the year of abuse he endured under her family, in his eyes "she had the power to free me all along and she did it now". Im not saying I endorse what he did but lets also not forget she was about to kill a child that in this timeline hasn't done s*t, is it wasn't for his sobs she would have become the monster
