The first Emporer, Rine's ancestor had a trusted partner who always fought besides him and the Emporer wanted to always protect him. Btw that partner is Tarcan's ancestor. When the person possessing that power has that flower they will not suffer. In case of a female, the suffering occurs when they get pregnant. Rine's mother didn't have that and thats why when she was pregnant with her a child of authority, she suffered greatly and had to be surrounded by some golden flower which helps relieve the pain and aids in delivery. But when Rine gets pregnant she sees the past and realizes that she doesn't need the golden flower but Tarcan who is the metaphorical flower.
