I'm wondering what happened to the prince tho, they didn't give us an update whether he succeeded the throne already. Since it was mentioned in the earlier chapters that he'd be exiled for five years, and eva is already six years old shouldn't he be back already?
Also we didn't get to see much of Countess Fortnum's son.
Although the story is overall good, it felt uncomplete for me.

The status says it's on going, so maybe just maybe there's a side story
If I remember correctly, they first agreed that the prince will be exiled for 5 years if he cause problems again for the duke and duchess, after that duel scene, when the emperor and the couple talked, but then, he committed something more problematic again so the emperor decided to make it indefinite exile. He did worse mistake so he was given worse punishment.
