Depends on the context

If its sm ut with just good art, yeah, you can say its just po** (and personally I don't care much if its just great art) because I care about plot and characters (though since the purpose of sm ut is to arouse, its understandable that there isn't much of a story so I have low expectations to say the least). Sad to say. not much straight sm ut has it, but for those that do, I generally enjoy the creativity of the creators to make stories that revolve around the act of making love. 

Non-sm ut, I care much more about the plot and the depth of the characters and aspects of the story. Part of the challenge is creators tend to use common gags/troupes and sometimes, that gets in the way of their actual story. Like BL/GL fans, I care much more about enjoying the story and don't really care how the art looks as long as I can make out who is who.
