It depends on if you have other works by the author or it's publisher on your platform. If you do have other works from either on your site, you are more likely to get a DMCA takedown request for all those titles and you'll definitely be on their monitoring list. While I can't say too much about international law, generally speaking a site is taken down only if it impedes on the creator's earnings or is making gross earnings from its operations.
