They never referred to themselves as nanny but noona which stands for older sister and sister exclusively. I read three different translations and even checked out the raw scan just to confirm that 😀

She is a girl, she literally has a female name and referres to herself as a female, her first appearance in the manhwa was in the first chapter and her calling herself 'Noona' which means older sister (I'm Asian btw)
