I want to say it was very unlike him to leave without a word with how the author portrayed him in prior chapters. We dont know if his mother is involved in this or not because she didn't she get admitted to the hospital. Maybe I remember wrong. I can say it was an overwhelming time for him, but a word could have been said, especially after all they went through together. I'm sure she would have understood if he told her why he was leaving. I think the dude just didn't want to deal with it or think she won't understand or make it difficult for him to leave as it's better to just avoid it than deal with it. Idk anymore. Who knows what the author has in mind its gonna go two ways either they talk and get together or separate ways, and no couple in the end. Ig we wait for tmrw chapter if there is one
