@rixi   obviously I read it — and yes, Kylie does go to see Leila in the end, but only after she speaks up. That hesitation still hurt. It’s just sad that the Duke ended up being right about him, even if his intentions weren’t cruel. The delay spoke volumes, and Leila deserved more than a moment of doubt. even if it was ultimately for his mother.
