I mean, it's kind of obvious but this chapter implies he maybe believes he's still doing the best for Airi despite isolating and manipulating her? I mean, he truly seems to believe that what he did was just a form of love. I'm on the edge of my seat again lolol.
Also, I want more psycho Hiro faces! I missed them from the first chapters! He has such a fun design + personality to make creepy faces/poses with! Like his always smiling manipulative face! And remember the "tilts his whole body to the side" horror pose? Chills~~
@EyeRoll Which, I just realized. Older Hiro-kun woke up because Airi couldn't be "in control" any longer thus he could no longer be a dog. He had to become the master again. The whole alter of older Hiro is created to be in control which is probably why he believes it's going to be helpful to Airi. Airi hit the nail on the head before with the "I'm sick of this relationship of always dominating or being dominated" comment. It was either a self-fulfilling prophecy or that dance is simply still continuing. This manga is so da** complex and you need to reread and reread sh** to understand it fully and I love it so much I just sdjifhsdf.
@Cookie same. <3 It's probably legit my favorite manga ever and one of my favorite stories ever lol. It's just very thought out and foreshadowing is insane! I wish Big Bro would do more stories because they seem to be an AMAZING writer. And it saddens me that people are just commenting childishly and without thought, often insulting Airi because it's very realistic rep of trauma? Idk, it's insanely relatable to me and it's genuinely heartbreaking that all people can say is "she's crazy" or "wtf am I reading". Like I get it but dude people are living it grr.
YEAH ITS SO REALISTIC. there are times where I think that she is stupid or something or think she shouldn't be doing now or like she's just being extra and I feel bad for her husband. But you have to think from both perspectives of the situation she has past trauma and doesn't have anyone that understands her and had a bad upbringing. while her husband has a perfect family a perfect life you know never had to experience anything bad like she had to experience. So even if I felt like it's a stupid thing or I could've made it different. if I was in her situation I probably would've did the same thing like if I had the same trauma etc like she had, I probably would've been just like her and clutching on to small things and false hope. something that people fail to realize when they read this is that just because you feel like you could do it doesn't mean she can do it? She's different from us and she has a different upbringing and a different life. so we have to understand everything from her perspective if yiu want to understand the story.it's so realistic and I love it so much!
