@Atsho Greyhead Chanton is a round character,, he has some important connection to Perez (I won't spoil you that far). And definitely not a foe considering Aunt Shishou (the grandma) appeared as one of Tia's confidants in the early chapters

He is a friend for now, working undercover to help Perez, acting as if he is in the queens side. But after the coronation and all are done he becomes quite a headache for Tia as she is the new head of Lombardi and they are rivals.
