@Lost mage  I read the novel and Ranran ends up leaving him and having the child but Ye Linghan finds out and confines him and he gets really miserable but plots revenge (exposes the bi*** Ye Linghan is getting married to at theirwedding). Mr Yunsong ends up saving him but puts a memory chip thing in Ranrans head that alters his memory so he doesn't remember Ye Linghan to bring him back to his rightful family and protect him. Ranran caught feelings for Ye Linghan again towards the end of that confinement and Mr Song didn't save the child when he saved Ranran so Ranran wanted to go back and give being a family a chance. Mr Yunsong fakes Ranrans death (second time) which Ye Linghan refuses to believe causing him to get depressed and carve Ranrans name into his chest. He continues to live to take care of the child but is pretty depressed and they do end up meeting again by chance because of the kid but Ranran doesn't remember him, Ye Linghan uses this opportunity to try and redeem himself and he actually does turn into a pretty green flag and is the final choice despite the emotional roller coaster.
