@Himeko if you relate it to the plot, meng nian is attached to every avoidance gu xing takes ( author ), we can kind of slowly see romance going on but forbidden due to the rules. and the more they interact more better will come to consequences TT, this chap shows that meng nian wouldnt give up even if now gu xing is being avoidant but who knows, she actually wants this to happen and nothing here states that gu xing didnt like it at all esp with all the nsfw scene
