What I hate is that it is obvious FL doesn't like them
Yet, grandpa keeps trying to force the issue claiming it to be the best for her. It won't be, abuse aside, if a child doesn't want to be put with certain people, it will 9/10 times be a bad idea to force the issue as the child can act out, become depressed, and develop trauma around trusting people because they didn't listen to them and take their choices and feelings into account.
It's very obvious again, that she doesn't like them, I know she'll be adopted by Jeffery but grandpa is pis**** me off. I can't think of him as a good father or grandfather because of his actions. I probably won't like him no matter what he does. He's causing FL stress and anxiety and fear simply because he thinks he's always right.
