he needs to disguise as a female, one is because tigrias (the empress and his mom) doesn't want him to be put in battle from the throne and two he is tigirias and the knight kinda forgot his name the (commander knight of tigiras father the one leo said that looks sad..real love interest of tigrias) SON, and you know what phelio knew about it cause phelio was the one helping her seeing that knight. 🤣
