I don't understand why some people in the comment section mourns for the grandpa, unless they know more stuff. But from what I've read, he's a not a good person.
He obsessed over his daughter life, micromanaging her to where he's definite that Kiera is the Duke's daughter. He had many options to choose to keep Kiera safe than killing Cosette's mom. And then held that a secret, if he deemed Kiera's life was unthreatened after that then he should have confessed that he led the woman to her death. Not only that, he also threatened a guys family to make him lie at court.
He doesn't care about Kiera, he only cares about the blood she carries. So pls, someone tell me why should I mourn for this dude beside the fact that he's a blood relative
