someone who sleeps around that he may have a kid or two (if your gut says he's serious about that) can't be shy, he could be playing a certain persona to lull you into sleeping with him. It's possible he could be a charmer not in a relationship and a monster/beast in a relationship (though this is an extreme). Just be cautious and listent to your instincts. Sometimes, instincts can be revelations from the Father
Re: caring for strangers, you can think of your time here as pratice. Just as I tried to sincerely help, be patient, ask the Lord to provide you with wisdom, direction and guidance and while it won't be overnight, sooner or later as long as you trust the Lord is guiding you, you will be as adept (maybe more so). When I was your age, I was very socially awkward, now people think I'm an extrovert even though I'm an introvert
I'll keep you in prayer on your journey. Keep in mind, you can also seek out mentorship on various matters, many adults are happy to help students who are sincere and serious. Your coworkers and colleagues could be a great start
About me, it's not that I'm strong, but the Lord equips me with what I need (I did ask for a job and he provided) to serve others and this job lets me serve despite the fact I should be sleep deprived and ocassionally hungry since I don't always have time to eat before departing. Thankfully its roughly every other week and once I find something more permanent, I can reduce the times I work from every other week to maybe once a month. Nothing's official yet, we have our first actual date this Friday so if you don't mind praying for me, I appreciate it. I don't have to get at 1am everytime, the next time will be in about 2 weeks and it's only 2 days
