@Helen Umm.. age of consent is 16 in Japan.. soo.. might be a bit weird to you but cultural differences do exist yk?
@IshiDeD lmao have you even talked to a Japanese person? they think it's weird as fu** too
@IshiDeD still kinda weird and doenst seem too ok lol a highschool student and a fully grown adult, a person who still isnt the age to drink and somebody who can, a minor and an adult, a quick google search can tell you that the legal adult age is 20 in japan but ofc thats different from consent, still an adult and a minor not ok shouldnt be normalized, no matter what role of culture is being played, its weird and it always will be.
@delulu I think y'all misunderstanding.... I didn't mean it's ok or should be normalized.... Just said how it can be not that triggering to some people... I'm south asian and in my culture a 3-10 year difference in marriage is seen as *Normal*... That don't mean it's actually normal or I'll be doing the same ... But it just doesn't trigger me as much as long as it's consensual...
@IshiDeD yea no i know that you didnt say it should be normalized and ok, i was just stating that because no matter what way you look at it, it will be weird. but yea i understand what you mean and everything, though ur previous comment could be like misinterpeted. marriage is actually pretty much the same in all places, some are worse than others. idek what marriage has to do with this but i dont really think a 16 and 26 should be together.
@delulu I'm not very good with words so yeah I do apologise.... But yeah I agree... 10 years is a huge gap... But I'm just here to enjoy the fictional story turning off my brain and getting my hit of serotonin and dopamine... Let's just enjoy the fictional story as it is yeah?
@IshiDeD well I understand that you are desensitised I want you to know that when it's teenager (yes even 19)x full grown adult (25 and more) it's not both consenting people because the teenager especially if they have this big power balance can't consent because they don't really understand the concept
@IshiDeD i understand that you want to enjoy this story but I want you to know tha being critical of media you consume is a good thing not a bad one
@a let me guess the so called Japanese person you spoke to is American? Unless you know Japanese. Did you conversate with someone from japan in japan. Your both unreliable but at least the other guy has an actual fac
