So many hating on Mathew even though he was unknowingly drugged. Yes, it was awful, but even Jin understood because he'd been on the same drugs before. The facts around it don't make it okay, but Mathew is no more at fault in this situation than someone on the receiving end after having their drink spiked. All he did was go to a party and drink a little. His drink was spiked, he didn't go further with the girl because he snapped out of his illusion enough to suddenly realize it was Jin he was seeing at that moment. He didn't go to Jin on his own. He even freaked out about Jin touching him at first, but he believed he was still imagining what was happening and it didn't help that poor Jin was suddenly and unwittingly telling him the things he had been longing to hear about being remembered. He stopped as soon as he was lucid enough to realize that he'd never want to see Jin badly injured and half dead...honestly, most people would have stopped what they had been doing and started freaking out, but still believed they were in an illusion. You know, a bad Drug trip doesn't usually start out in a nightmare state, it winds its way there
