@AnMaForLife there were similar storys tehre before solo leveling, there are ather similar storys after sl and there will be even in te future similar ones too. sl was not a masterpice, it had a good art and good story, that was it, the rest was generatet sh** like a lot of ather similar storys.

@pi ah I understand what you mean, but I don't get why you're saying it's just generated sh it. I don't really think it has anything to say what kind of parts makes the story as long as its good, but of course everyone to their own opinion

@pi I'm happy to have found someone thinking the same about sl. And yeah, getting tired of all those kids comparing everything to the only thing they know because they think it was the first lol

@pi honestly it's annoying that ppl keep calling every manhwa with gates and system a "solo leveling knock off" but solo leveling was in a matter of fact a masterpiece, starting from the art to the story, perfect concept execution, and great characters

sorry for the late reaply, i wanted to let the comics accumulate some chappters after i catched up. will happen agein after i catched up agein^^

i say generated sh** becouse the storys about gates began before sl got attention, the only difference they did was the art and the "cool posing mc" everything else was similar to ather storys. and at that time, after sl was finish till some months before now, you could not read 1 damned story with gates or good art, that got NOT compared to the sl sh**, and that startet to annoy me....and still does.
and tbh, so good was the art of sl not, it had some "cool looking moments" but everything aside them was worse than in some ather storys. at last in the field of accuracy and holding the same quality.

@pi the art obviously improves with time, solo leveling isn't a new manhwa, the concept might be the same but aside from the concept it's original, and if i compare it to other manhwas that were releasing in the same year, solo leveling is better than most, and you said after it finished, but the art didn't stay the same it kept improving, and looking at some scenes from the last chapters, it holdes its ground even if it was compared to "pick me up, infinite gacha" which in my opinion a manhwa with one of the greatest art and art style in the manhwas that releasing currently, and it can't be helped that a lot of manhwas of the same concept are being called knock off, cuz a lot of them have the word "solo" or "leveling" in their names, ex: "solo max level newbie", even tho it's infuriating that some manhwas are being called knock off even tho all they did was inspiration of the necromancer thing, and it's more infuriating that are some manhwas are being called knock off even tho it's just the system concept, this is no reason to hate on solo leveling just cuz ppl call other manhwas "sl knock off"

@Anything its not orginal becouse there were a lot of ather gate based storys before sl out there. the only "orginal" aspect of it was that sl used a necromancer as the mc, but he was not realy a necromancer, he was more like a asassin with shadow cast abilitys.
and yes, there were a lot with solo or lvling or necromancer in their name after sl. but there were some gate based storys with solo in their names and athers with leveling, does that makes sl to their knockoff?
and about the art, a good art is not one who looks just good, the accuracy has to be good too, the distance and so on. sometimes it looked as if he hold a weapon stright from the side, but if it was shown from the enemy side who was in front of him, he showed the pointy end on the enemy. the messures were not right, sometimes he was bigger, sometimes smaller sometimes bulkier and so on. and a lot of more stuff. like i did say, some paarts looked cool, but everything else ......

ps: i dont hate sl, i quite enjoyed reading it. but i dont like that ppl overexerate it so much and compare ather works with it that have a different build than sl had.
even the ones were the mc was a necromancer were a different build than sl becouse THEY used necromancy, the mc from sl used SHADOW SUMMONING and that has NOTHING TO DO WITH NECROMANCY!

@pi i would like you to give me the names of some manhwas with the words solo or leveling that were there before solo leveling, and needless to say but they must also be system and/or gate genre. and the only thing unoriginal about sl was the concept, other than that was the part where his mother was sick, but it was just a goal and not THE goal. also the inaccuracy is barely noticeable and it wasn't frequent. And a manhwa that's about gates and system that came after sl with the words solo and/or leveling in its name is obviously stealing, what else do you call it? "Everybody COINCIDENTALLY thought of using these words in their manhwa titles after sl got famous"? And as i said, it's wrong to say about a manhwa a knock off just cuz it has necromancy, cuz most of them are original with their plot, not the concept, and reviving things you killed is necromancy, and considering his strength he's definitely not an assassin. And now I'm wondering if you actually read sl till the end
