Hestia is aware of Kael's feeling towards her to some extent. I think the reason she's so hellbent on this revenge is bcs she doesn't want Kaelus to do it instead for she knows how much he treasured his friendship with Heli and his love for diana before, and Hestia doesn't want to taint such pure feelings of his with something negative like revenge so she'll do it instead bcs if there's anyone who knew of the extent and the depth of Kael's pain, it would be Hestia who read the novel. And i think the reason she doesn't really cross the line with Kaelus is bcs she thinks there's no future for her, bcs she died in her previous life due to sickness and bcs her 'foresight' is all her worth as she determined that she thinks she'll soon be useless to Kael bcs she's nearing to the time when she died before, i think based on her memories of her PL, she only has less than a year to live. 
 
 
 
And iir, during Kael's absence due to the ongoing negotiations, Helios will learn that Hestia is a regressor, the truth accidentally slipped when Hestia was so exhausted and was like experiencing the symptoms of her previous illness or smthng and Heli visited to talk about some things. Heli was so shocked and worried that he immediately called for an imperial doctor and have them visit and check on hestia everyday then report to him about the result. And i like that his reason for doing that was that he was genuinely worried and bcs he knows Kael will suffer if she's gone and helios don't want Kaelus to suffer more.
