When I have a story I like and suddenly the translation quality becomes trash (usually because a group tries to steal the credit of a popular series to gain recognition and often donations), I go to mangadex.org to see if a better quality translation of the story is there. Not always, but there is usually a better translation because unlike most sites which just collect the first available translation (speed), mangadex's repository of stories are supplemented by the translation group that translated them which are usually checked for quality (and that's why its slower).

Stories with interesting plots and I can attest have good translations (at the very least, you won't feel you are losing brain cells trying to make sense of it)
