It's probably just me but why not call the one birthing the baby the mother and the other one can be the father in like a generic way and if they wanna swap or both be daddy that's fine but like how they is used when you don't know the gender of someone. Just like a place holder or something? I dunno it's just weird that in a world where women can also get men pregnant we are gonna hold on to only women being called the mother.
