@Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaa   its a real thing unfortunately because he always believed she will stay after the family the fact that something thats always been his slipping away makes him anxious and is trying to reclaim it essentially causing him to be obsessive.
i prob explained it awfully but i believe its a real thing :(.
