This is a BIG change from the novel. 🧐 There he wasn't as OP in building plus he actually cared about not standing out. The destruction in the town was actually supposed to be used as a bargaining chip to gather funds & save the people in need. Now with how this versions going then there's no real reason for him to force the lord to make future contributions to a town that's better off than most. 🤦🏽♂️

@BeastLover I agree. Don't know why the manga is going through such a goofy detour. 🤷🏽♂️ I wonder how they'll do the next arc. Maybe he will be best buds with the demons instead of running for his life
