I get where Erna is coming from, but I don’t fully understand her. She’s a young, innocent girl who’s never been in love and moved to a city where people mistreated her. Bjorn’s fake kindness probably felt like real love to her, especially since she has a bad relationship with her dad and was looking for love. Like many girls, she might’ve thought she could change him, even though there were clear red flags.
At the same time, I don’t agree with her choices. If I saw those signs, I’d leave right away, even though I’ve never been in a relationship. Thinking you can “change” someone isn’t healthy. If a man truly loves you, he’ll treat you right from the start and respect. Always respect yourself and focus on self-love, because no one else will respect you if you don’t. This is literally what she lock the most.
