I find this really interesting, and I feel for Qingyu. Right now, she believes Ji Xiao has truly changed as a person, not just by telling her, but by showing her with actions; while in actuality, she is a different person entirely. It's difficult to say which would be worse, knowing or not knowing...because if she did know: the Ji Xiao that she grew up with since a child, her first friend, the girl who knew her parents, is just..gone. Left without a trace or even a goodbye, although she probably would have been relieved about it, because she turned sour and tormented her. However, there is the other side of the coin: the sadness that comes with knowing. If she knows, that it is no longer Ji Xiao, who will never be able to redeem herself, who cannot apologize for all the pain that she's caused. If she could, would she? Would she ever snap out of the hate and change? Would she remember that they were once everything to each other? That they were girls together? That she loved her..? It's the premise that the original Ji Xiao cannot ever right her wrongs, and have a redemption, because she no longer exists.

@kaeyo  Im sorry but I just had a concussion reading this😭🙏
@kaeyo  I can't believe I read all that. But yeah, I agree with you. To know or not to know? I honestly prefer her not knowing that the real Jo Xiao is gone. I'm afraid to know what would happen if the real one comes back.
