Mars will only be mentioned all the time when Camilla and others are busy dealing with the villain. He was the the person who actually stopped those cult members who are switching souls and taking living people's body.

Shortly after defeating Eva's cult, Mars disappeared or more like commited suicide as we saw in this chapter, however, the leader of the cult had swap bodies and went into hiding, so Mars didn’t really put an end to the cult, he just weakened them. The leader of the cult is the soul that possessed the emperor of the Fabler empire (Camilla's Empire) he has lived more than 500 years.
