Don't know if is because the manga comes once a month, or if its because of the pace of the original novel, but (at least for me) this manga has become something that you read in 5 minutes and forget it exist until it pops up again.
Gives me the same feeling than when I'm reading a slice-of-life: the story goes nowhere, or at least nowhere fast enough to keep me interested in what happens next.
@NamelessGoblin I Agree, I find that since he started at the school teaching, no real story progression has happend. He teaches student for what reason? Even meeting these new vassals are of no importance, they even claim this themselves. Some vague remark about the denizens of the sub world will forefer hold the wolf forest importancy and the main characters opinion that what it means to be the king is something that will take a long time.
The anime is a lot further in the story but also didn't mention this whole chapter, it certainly is strange.
@Strongholdfan from what I've heard the anime leaves quite a lot out which sucks but what are ya gonna do its up to the companies what they deem a "waste" to put in the anime and so things get skipped it sadly happens to alot of anime cool stuff gets cut cause they can't be bothered to put it in
