@Nadrios Do you really believe privacy exists on the internet? Between those who voluntarily share their lives and those who get “accidentally” photographed—not even mentioning real-life friends who might gladly share your location for a bribe—the same applies to the staff of companies managing these platforms. It’s surprisingly easy to obtain people’s personal information.
I don’t know where you live, but here—and I believe in many other places as well—ISPs sell phone numbers and email addresses to anyone willing to pay, just to make more money. And that’s how you end up with a ton of ads from websites you don’t even know.
