Did they really think that their dumbass tactic would work? Even if we assume it did, now you have 2 nuclear warheads aimed at you, the saintess against you, the majority of the academy against you, it's basically having your powerhouses all against you, why would even think of doing that, it's so dumb.

@Rick Anapaz you already said it she's dumb and Lortelle is cunning to easily deceive Selaha which makes her dumber. And she's the dumbest thinking Ed manipulated those nukes. DUMB af.
@Rick Anapaz Yeah you are right. Does Lortel really think that she can kidnap Ed in front of a saintness, the spirit mage and a literal archmage. Even if she somehow kidnapped him does she really think that she can protect herself from the three FMC. Is she forgotten about what happened to his sister.
@DarkShadow i didn't read the novel so i might be wrong but imo that's not Lortelle's intention tho she really want to take Ed for herself she won't go that far. Not against those nukes. In this case she's trying to save Ed from Selaha. If she didn't Ed will be executed so she's playing the bad guy again bc that's what she's good at. About the Saintess and the others I'm pretty sure Lortelle will inform them about Ed she'd be fücked if she didn't no? Phoenia knew Lortelle sided with Selaha so she'll be one of the prime suspect of Ed's sudden disappearance.
@punyemas she just contributing/helping Ed, compared to 2 nuclear warhead and 1 Lightbulb (saintess) who where at the middle of the battle. What loretell yapping is just her interal monologue spoken loudly
