3) ur right that there’s a difference between one comment and a huge dogpile, and real harassment is definitely a problem.
but if the author already said there are “disrespectful depictions of other cultures and people,” then people calling that out are talking about the story, not just attacking the creator.
calling all of that “dogpiling” mixes up real harassment with legit criticism, and it kinda makes the harmful parts of the writing seem less serious than they are.
