@chocostrawberrymilk this would not be teaching about history, Korea has nothing to do with slavery so what since would it make for a Korean to make a story slave x slave master and both of the main characters aren’t even black. And even if one of them were black this is still not a good trope for a romance story. Atp it’s just a fetish and I’m so happy jaxx decided discontinue the story because she realized and took responsibility for her mistake.

@Mariyah im glad she did aswell but one thing i will say about your argument is that even if korea doesn't have anything to do with history they still study and learn it, right?? i really think that they made a good point that since a majority of people prefer reading comics over studying, it really is nice to put in some facts even if their not the most explicit (explicit in a sense that it's not very explained clearly), although this manhwa isn't the greatest example, there are still a ton of manhwas that educate people to drugs, medicines, etc! ^^ and it also pissed me off that the dude wasn't a black person but he's still a poc ig
