They do it to male characters in action manhwas too, but in a different way. 
If FMCs become dumb, MMCs become pathetic.

I tried to read "I stole the number 1 ranker's soul" since I wanted to read more dungeoen stuff but with FMC, But I couldn't finish it, I dropped it after FMC went to the police, it didn't have the same insanity as the MMC have, so I'm reading romance just for some cool FMC but not all of them give off the insane vibe, it's as if they can't write women or refuse which sucks

I feel your disappointment.
There aren't many works with cool and consistent fMCs. They always end up adding the 'typical' things to stretch the plot. 
There aren't many, but there are some pretty good ones though. Like the Matriarch in this life, I don't know the original, How can there be divorce, magpie bridge, daughter of lowly concubine and it's my first time being loved...to name some. The fMCs have been consistent in these almost throughout the work.
