Why was she so stupid? She believed a baseless rumor that some cult nobody with zero cultivation somehow had the treasure of the sect leader even after investigating herself and finding zero evidence.

@Nelson Mandela she's likely been searching for awhile. Even if its just a rumor, and tip is still a tip. Not to mention he was significantly weaker then her the first time they met. Normal people don't just jump 60 levels in 2 days. I imagine she figured she could take him and wring out information.
@JPANIME She was nowhere near level 60. If she knew he was level 60, she wouldn't have even dared to approach him. Level 60 is on the level of her master, a cult elder.
