Up to now Liese looks like a pretty strong and intelligent female lead. At first she might seem sweet and naive but I guess it's because of her memory loss which makes her helpless. Too bad the first chapter already spoiled that Johann is an impostor, even though his motives are unknown.
I also appreciate how the blonde officer is characterized. He's evil but smart, not the typical ra*ist pig with no brain. As he knows he'll never succeed in seducing Liese using money or blackmail, he's sowing doubts in her mind about her husband. I'm looking forward to reading the next chapters.
