So basically, xi xia nian (little brother) gets xu ci nian (older brother) framed and prisoned for 5 years on account of their grandad's murder. In the prison, he get's harrassed and saved by Cheng (💀) and later, they do the drunk hanky panky on the roof top. The following day, Cheng searches for Xu ci nian, uninformed about his release but, decides to search for him once he's out of the prison. Xu ci nian on the other hand eavesdrops his dad bitc**** about him - the family business is handed over to the present successor, Xi xia nian and not Xu ci nian cuz they hate him mainly because he's "guilty" of their grandad's murder and also because they are queerphobic/transphobic ash. The's also when he gets to know that he can conceive. 5 years later (?) he's roommates with a man who's often preceived as a women cuz he cross-dresses, the kids name is wo wo and both the adults work and no one they Xu ci nian knows of, know that he is alive. The roomie and Xu xi nian seem to be great company to each other cuz we see them talk about their personal affairs (mainly Xu ci nian's). Xu ci nian encounters his ex at his work (he sells wonton and soul as a hawker) and gets his arrested. Xu ci nian, wo wo and his roomie walk back home, which is where Cheng finds Xu ci nian after 2 years of constant searching. Cheng arrives to a clubhouse for a meeting with Xi xia nian regarding business but, keeps getting reminded of Xu ci nian and asks Xi xia nian whether he has siblings to which he gets a negative response. They abruptly intrupted by Cheng's assistant who informs Cheng of a commotion that took place within their organization. He arrives at the site and meets Xu ci nian for the first time in 2 years.... Xu ci nian is kept a hostage by the members of Cheng's organization (?) cuz they get their as*** beat up by Xu ci nian for gulping down local hawkers' money.
