I don't remember FL laughing like that before (in the story shown). If it really is the first time, it's a big waste for “this moment” to have nothing to do with ML.
Besides, I'm tired of ML having to chase after her/beg for her love....
@Evee I understand where you're coming from but i disagree with your stance. In fact I think this moment of laughter from Asha is so impactful BECAUSE it happened away from the ml. Asha's full belly laughter shows the readers that Asha is no longer in survival mode, or soldier mode and she's ready to let herself feel. In fact that's what each chapter since Carlisle's confession has shown us if you pay close attention.
Also I don't think Carlisle has had to beg for Asha's love. I think that Carlisle HAD to be the one to confess because he has the luxury of understanding what love is.
