I think you should confess to the girl you like bc she might not even want to date you like you already rejected her once maybe she's moved on. Like low key youre kind of only thinking about your feelings atm it feels like you're using your best friend as an excuse. Like just confess already. The longer you agonizing over something that hasn't happened yet in the future the less time you have to spend enjoying in the present or you could miss the opportunity completely. So theres that.
