Ok... I'm gonna try to help out since the translation is really bad. I'm reading the novel and it's one of my all time favorite stories, so I feel sorry for the people to be missing out because of the translation...

The famous actor Cha Joang Woo is someone that Myung Shin really envy and that's why when he makes a comment about his car, he doesn't like it... Everything is to push him to make him go into debt.
About Jay... He knows that Lee Taemin is now only living for one purpose only: vengeance. Since he likes him, he wants to try little by little to make him have other objects apart from that (maybe even like acting for real or fall in love with him). He doesn't wanna force having s** with him, he wants him to fall in love as well.
