Dan-I didn't actually disappeared, they just forgot about her. And, Jiho didn't just happen to remember her, he forced or he tried so hard to remember Dan-I because he loves her
Until now, I don't know why people still complained that Jiho is the male lead. He literally deserved to be the male lead, because after their memories was gone, Cheonyeong didn't remember remember her either. So it makes sense the JIho is the male lead. But, they said that there are two different routes, Cheonyeong routes, and Jiho routes since they said that the author got pressured because of the fans that can't accept the fact that Jiho was the male lead

I don't know if you read the last part of my comments but just like I said, I don't think Ju-In likes dani, he doesn't seems to have a romantic feelings for dani 
Dan-I is just a mother figure to Ju-in and that explains his nickname for her "Mom" since you know that his stepmother doesn't even love him, and just used him and took advantage of his memory thing so yeah
As for yeodan and dan-i relationship, they broke up because yeodan thought that the idea of them dating is just him isolating dan-i from her friends, because they ignored dan-i for like 2 months so basically the one who stayed to dan-i this all time was lee ruda and yeoryeong (I don't know why there's no lee ruda's route 
) But yeah, I agreed. They're such a cute couple, I mean if yeodan is my neighbour.. I would always cook food then give it to them just to see him 
Yeodan really loves dan-I but he had to do what's best for her, it's such a shame they need to broke up.. So basically, Yeondan is a green flag (yall can't change my mind)Â
